1966 Jalwa Horn Restoration.

 Hello Guys Last month i bought a old jalwa horn which i got from my uncles 1966 Hindustan Ambassador Mark II. The horn was damaged at that time my uncle said point in jalwa horn damaged very frequently and its points is not easily available in market nowadays.I took that horn and kept with me for 8 months and luckily i found a old electrician uncle who was expert in repairing that types of horn in those old days.When i tell him about jalwa horn he said HA LE AAO KRDENGE CHALU UNKO.I was vey excited and Happy at that time.This is the condition of horn when i took it.

when i give this horn to the electrician he said its mini jalwa horn.He said in old era 60s and 70s this horn comes in ambassador car. Now its time for the operation of that horn.Here is some pics after opening it.

Arrows shows jalwa points which get damaged frequently and nowadays not easily available in market.

After opening the horn electrician said points is damaged. Electrician said i will give you some shop address in my city [Indore] you can check here .Luckily I got that points at same shop that electrician tells me .

 

1978 Model Original Mark 2 Ambassador Caught at Road side

Rusted Neglected 1992 Premier Padmini Scrap!!!

This car belongs to Dewas city in Madhya pradesh Actually the owner of the car is out of country. He sold his car to one mechanic. Mechanic wants to restore it again but car condition is scrap.

Found Hidden 1995 Abandoned Hindustan Contessa .

Hello Guys I m Nitin from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Guys i m a big fan of Hindustan Contessa From my childhood. My Dad also have this car but due to some financial problems he sold it. Contessa is very rare car nowadays even in my city there is no Contessa .Whenever i ask any mechanic and any scrapyard owner is there any Contessa available on sale they said why you want that car and starts laughing & said "Bhaiya bhaut contessa todi hai kabad ke bhaw me abto contessa dekhne ko hi nahi milti hai"  

I was very upset at that time and i gave my contact number to one old mechanic he said if any Contessa comes will call you. After 2 months that guy calling me and said one Contessa is available for sale. I m very happy at that time and i told mechanic  please hold that deal i m interested. He said car is 1995 Model Diesel Hindustan Contessa. I tell him i want to see that car. He said ok tomorrow will go there.

I m Very Excited to see that Contessa car. Actually car is far away from my city. When we reaches to that Contessa i saw it is abandoned from 8 years here is some  

pictures i share with you guys.The papers of the car is valid and the asking price of owner is 55k in this condition. Guys if i buy this Contessa can anybody tell how much its restoration cost and is spares are available. Thank you.
